Welcome to Gillian Lock Psychotherapy and Coaching

About Me

I offer long and short-term psychotherapy and counselling to individuals, couples and families.

I work with a wide range of concerns such as bereavement, illness, divorce, depression, anger, anxiety, phobias, self-esteem, relationship problems, trauma and PTSD. I have a particular interest in adolescent and family relationship difficulties and peri-natal issues, especially post-natal depression. I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor, trained in a range of modalities. This allows me to provide you with emotional support that best suits your needs, whether it is exploring the relief of current symptoms or perhaps taking a longer term look at your life history and understanding how you came to be the unique person you are.

I also offer assistance with employment related issues such as career coaching, career and organisational change, redundancy, workplace stress, relationship difficulties at work etc. I can help prepare a thorough analysis of work and life experiences, taking a psychological approach to understanding how to make informed and constructive changes in your personal and professional life. I am also a qualified Architect and have had international senior management and Board level experience.

No matter which issues you chose to explore, you will receive confidential, compassionate and thoughtful support.
